Jenny and Michael chose The Powel Crosley Estate for it's history, architecture and well...the view!
To style this elegant affair, we pulled colors from the building itself - ivory, gold and touches of blush. We also incorporated navy, as a homage to Michael's time in the military.
I love a good "first look" and theirs did not disappoint! The couple shared a few moments together, before they said "I Do," and I have to say it was a really special time (even for me) as I stood back and watched the tears flow!
Candle light adorned the tables with soft floral centerpieces, while chandeliers floated over the outdoor dance floor. The guests danced the night away, while watching an amazing sunset over the Gulf of Mexico.
Guests flew in from overseas (England to be exact) to share in the wedding, and the love of family and friends was surely the focal point of this elegant affair.
This simply elegant wedding was the perfect start for Sara and Sean's life together! They fell in love with the classic architecture of The Powel Crosley Estate and wanted their decor to compliment the backdrop of the estate.
From their elegant color palette of Ivory and gold to the timeless details their day was the epitome of class.
Though they said "I do" under the veil of a rainy sky - they were able to capture some incredible shots of a stunning sunset, and dance the night away under the stars!

I met Erica about a month before her wedding - yes, a month! She didn't know that she had to provide lighting over the lawn at Powel Crosley, we discussed how this was quite important (see photo) and in 1 short hour we had her whole wedding orchestrated and she felt "so much less stress!" After we got that covered, we spent the next month working on the details, which worked out perfectly.
Her closest friends and family spent the day sipping mimosa's (a must for my clients) and being pampered (also a must) at The Powel Crosely Estate bridal suite while I finished up the details. To compliment her new last name, Erica chose to gift each guest with a custom bar of artesian soap with "FRESH" imprinted which was such a unique idea! Her simple, yet perfect floral touches of fresh baby's breath and wine bottles (wine lovers for sure!) were the icing on the cake if you will.
I loved how each detail was reflective of who they were as a couple and who they would be as husband and wife. There were vows, kisses, eating and dancing - then lot's of celebrating! I love all my couples, but Matt & Erica showed a love for each other and of life that was so re-FRESHing, I couldn't get enough. I am fortunate to say we still keep in touch, and I so enjoy seeing how their life together unfolds!
