Keri and Chris’s bohemian beach wedding at the Longboat Key Club and Resort was so much fun for our Jennifer Matteo Event Planning Team.
 
This California couple wanted a beach wedding where her parents vacation. They wanted the night to be laid back and casual with a cocktail style reception to set the perfect vibe.
 
Wedding guests were treated to custom Welcome Boxes that included a schedule of events, sunscreen and some of Keri and Chris’ favorite snacks.
 
Keri and Chris decided not to see each other prior to their wedding and the wedding parties spent the day relaxing. They got ready at separate properties before being transported to the Longboat Key Club. 
 
Their wedding ceremony and reception were hosted on the beach. The wedding ceremony was designed with rustic wooden pews set with throw pillows and decorated with clusters of pampas grass. The aisle was set with vintage carpets on the sand, leading to an infinity arch of pampas grasses that fluttered in the breeze.
 
Keri was dressed in a bohemian styled halter-neck wedding gown with a long flowing veil,.  She carried a loose bouquet of peonies, pink and sand colored roses with greenery and unique textural details. Chris wore a light linen shirt and khaki slacks with a boutonniere tucked into his shirt pocket.
 
Keri made her entrance to “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic” by the Police. After exchanging wedding vows the two strolled the resort and beach for some awesome photographs.
 
Guests gathered in a relaxed unique lounge setting that was a mixture of vintage furniture groupings, modern cocktail settings with retro white wire barstools draped in faux fur.
 
There were long rustic wooden tables dressed with soft flowing fabric runners and garlands of greenery and roses. Clear acrylic ghost chairs complimented the eclectic design.
 
Guests dined on delicious fare from food truck styled stations that included Avocado and Citrus Ceviche, Seared Duck Breast, Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos, Dim Sum and a Prime Rib carving station.
 
An evening of dancing under the stars followed dinner and the evening wrapped up with wedding cake, cupcakes, savory late nights snacks and amazing Nye’s Cream Sandwiches

Marysse and Brad’s intimate Sarasota rooftop wedding at Sage Restaurant was truly a family affair. They surrounded themselves with about fifty family and friends as well as their beautiful daughter, Adriana. Our Jennifer Matteo Event Planning family was excited to be part of this beautiful day as it unfolded.
 
The couple chose not to have a First Look so the ladies spent the morning relaxing in their matching spa robes, sipping prosecco and getting ready for some photos and the early afternoon wedding ceremony.
 
Everyone made their way to the restaurant’s roof top with its magnificent skyline views where the ceremony was performed. The space was accented with gold chivari chairs and two tall gold trumpet vases overflowing with roses in shades of pink and white. 
 
Marysse’s mother escorted her down the aisle to her husband-to-be, wearing a modern lace wedding gown with crystal spaghetti straps carrying a bouquet of pink and cream florals with thistle and other textural elements.
 
After the wedding ceremony guests enjoyed delicious charcuterie boards, prosecco and wine while Marysse and Brad took time for some wedding photos exploring Sarasota. 
 
When they returned from photos they opened their wedding reception with their First Dance to Bless the Broke Road by Rascal Flatts.   After the first dance everyone enjoyed an incredible multi-course reception dinner which included homemade Sour Pork Lumpia with Banana Sambal and other amazing dishes filled with Asian inspired flavors.
 
Their sweetheart table was a beautiful naked wooden table, dressed with candles and clusters of pink and white roses, flanked by the two beautiful ceremony pieces.
 
Wooden guest tables were layered with pink satin runners embroidered with crystals in a geometric pattern, vintage white charger plates with pink napkins and a custom menu card.   Modern metallic vases held blooms in pinks and whites alongside frosted silver candle holders.
 
After an evening of dancing, Marysse and Brad cut a stunning three-tiered pink and gold marble wedding cake. Friends of the bride passed out warm pretzels as a late-night snack before the couple made a grand exit in a shower of sparklers.

It was an absolute pleasure for our Jennifer Matteo Event Planning team to work with Ruiwan and Wang on their wedding at The Ritz-Carlton Sarasota.
 
They are foodies and wanted incredible music, fabulous flowers and lots of beautiful wedding photos, what's not to love!
 
Ruiwan looked so pretty in the first of several wedding outfits. She chose a strapless gown in lace and crystals with a sweetheart neckline and long train. Her veil with lace floral applique and satin Jimmy Choo's with a crystal embellished strap were the perfect accents.
 
Wang looked very handsome in his classic tuxedo with a white anthurium boutonniere, coordinating with Ruiwan's bouquet of monstera leaves, garden roses, and white anthurium.
 
The ceremony on the Ritz Carlton Lawn was set with a bamboo arch overflowing with palm branches, monstera, and Ti leaves and accented with dendrobium orchids and roses. 
 
Guests seated on white garden chairs with clusters of greenery and white orchids and a carpet of rose petals marking the aisle.  They were greeted by a music trio made up of a harp, cello, and violin.
 
The couple exchanged their wedding vows in a touching, wedding ceremony before heading off for some sunset photos, while guests enjoyed cocktails and butler passed hors d' oeuvres including Tuna Tataki with Pickled Cucumber and Yuzu Mayonnaise, Bacon Wrapped Scallops with Citrus Aioli, and Grilled Portobello Puffs, and Figs & Mascarpone Cheese in Phyllo Purses.
 
The couple, their family and friends made their way to the Healing Garden for an evening of dinner and dancing. 
 
The garden was set with a collection of round tables draped in white floral Damask linen, accented with a centerpiece of monstera leaves and white hydrangea. Gold metal geometric candleholders, gold charger plated and gold chiavari chairs added a pop of color to the table-scape.
 
After Ruiwan and Wang's first dance the couple and their wedding guests enjoyed a dinner beginning with a salad of Frisee, Arugula, and Butter Lettuce with Lardons, Green Apple Dressing, and Candied Walnuts.
 
Guests were also offered a choice of entrées which included Pan Roasted Salmon with Pomme Puree, Broccolini and Carrots, and Sauce Pique or Coulette of Beef, Pomme Puree, Broccolini and Carrots dressed with Green Peppercorn and Cognac Demi-Glace. 
 
The couple danced the night away in the garden before departing in a shower of sparklers and an afterparty in the hotels Ca d'Zan Ballroom.
