Jessica wanted to be a Princess for a day and she truly made the shoe fit!
With a palette of deep merlot, greenery and rich golden touches, her wedding was what dreams are made of!
Details were really important to Jessica (which we loved because you know I live for them!) so all the little things played a big part in the composition of the day.
Jonathan made their sweetheart table - yes, he made it, and now it graces their home where they can have it as a constant reminder of their wedding day.
Instead of a traditional menu card, the couple opted for a heart felt "Thank you" for all their guests, as well as a special little favor - their favorite cookies from a local bakery.
The crimson red was the perfect tone for this December wedding, without being too "Christmas-y", and can be vividly seen in the napkins, florals, velvet seating and the adornments of the cake.
Jessica and Jonathan were a special couple to me - I really got to know them during our planning together, and it was obvious that he ADORED her, his answer to most of her requests was "you're so pretty" - which made her (and me) smile...because it meant we got what we were asking for!
This wedding was clearly a stunner, I hope you enjoy the photos, as much as I enjoyed putting it together!
Candis had a very clear vision of what she wanted and it was my job to give it to her!
Her dreamy palette of soft blush, white and a slate blue was the perfect choice for her spring wedding at the beautiful Selby Gardens. We kept the tones subdued, and really let the florals be the focus of the designs.
We decided on feasting tables to allow the guests to have a more intimate feel while dining. We adorned the tables with whimsical centerpieces, candle light and beautiful linens that really pulled the whole look together!
Every detail was thought through thoroughly - from her invitations to coordinating the pashmina's for the guests...just in case they caught a chill.
The simple white cake was embellished with fresh blooms which perfectly paired with the beauty of the gardens!
Although the evening was planned to be spent under the banyan trees - mother nature had other plans. "Plan B" (tent) was put into place, but did not take away from the beauty of the day!
Candis and Doug are a very special couple - full of life and love for one another, and I wish them a lifetime of adventures together!
