When I think of what two couples in love are like - I will eternally think of Ben & Lauren. From the first time we met, they were obviously truly smitten with each other and could not wait to be husband & wife! We planned a fairy tale wedding - complete with a princess bridal gown, soft flowing draping and crystal chandeliers. The ceremony was held at Ben's childhood church, where they said "I DO" in front of their closest family and friends.
The party really started at the reception with beautiful uplighting, cocktails flowing from an ice sculpture and Jam All Day Entertainment keeping them on the dance floor all night long! The sparks continued to the send off - where the new Mr. & Mrs. had one more kiss to end the night under a bridge of sparklers surrounded by everyone they loved! Anne DEFINATELY did this for her groom, but their little boy was the star!
It was so wonderful to see the love that the entire family had for one another at this destination wedding at The Ringling. Everyone in attendance was all smiles, and so happy to celebrate two families becoming one. Her color palette of lavendar, ivory and green was a perfect compliment to the colors of the stained glass that the Ca D'Zan Mansion is so famous for - and when the sunset danced off the water it was sheer perfection! Congratulations Dan and Anne - I loved every minute I got to know you and your amazing family! But, this destination wedding was definately something special!
I got a call from the bride about 6 weeks before the big day - asking me to "please help her not loose her mind". I was happy to help, and we got right to work! She wanted an elegant beach affair with pops of coral and navy - we did a few "beachy" touches, but kept is simple and elegant. The groom's love of cigars was celebrated with on site cigar rollers, and her love of sweets with a delicious sweets bar that kept everyone coming back for more! Take a look and the unique touches that this couple chose to make their wedding day stand out, from bobble heads to custom monogramming - it might just inspire you! When you are asked to partner with a GREAT charity, that is something special!
I was kindly approached by Kelly & Tony Barrett of Barrett Realty to help them plan their annual Golf Outing for Heroes Welcome Home - a charity that helps find housing for local vets, and I jumped at the opportunity! I teamed up with Just a Basketcase Events and Sunset Cadillac to put on a great event, that was SO MUCH FUN! We were able to raise significant funds for the charity and we look forward to another great event next year! Special Thank you to Dylan Wade Cox Photography for some great shots! |
