Not at all. Many of our destination wedding couples live out of state or internationally and plan their entire event remotely with us. We're experienced in managing the full planning process via video calls, digital planning tools, and site visits, ensuring you feel completely supported no matter where you're based. Several of our most celebrated weddings have been planned entirely with couples who never set foot in Florida until their wedding week.
We begin with a discovery consultation to understand your vision, guest count, and preferred destination. From there, JMEP handles venue research and sourcing, local vendor vetting, travel logistics, multi-day event coordination (welcome dinners, day-after brunches), and complete day-of execution. We travel to your destination, so you have your trusted planning team on the ground regardless of where in the world you're celebrating.
For destination weddings, especially international ones, we recommend starting the planning process 18–24 months in advance. Securing premium international venues, coordinating travel for large guest counts, and navigating local vendor relationships all take additional time. The earlier we begin, the more options we have to create exactly the wedding you're dreaming of.
Yes — multi-day celebrations are one of our specialties. We plan and coordinate the full weekend experience, including welcome cocktail parties, rehearsal dinners, the wedding ceremony and reception, and day-after brunches or excursions.
